DNC Convention 2012 Schedule: Watch Online Live Stream of Democrat Speakers, Performers (VIDEO)

The DNC 2012 commences Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina with a wide range of speakers set to take the stage. President Barack Obama is set to be named as the official Democrat nominee later this week on Thursday, which will springboard his re-election campaign. The scheduled list of speakers for the convention is listed below and the event can be watched online through live streaming (details below).

The convention will officially nominate President Barack Obama and Vice President Biden as the Democrat candidates for this year's presidential elections. Meanwhile the party has attempted to draw a host of famous bands to perform at the event to capture the attention of voters. Set to perform are Foo Fighters, Mary J. Blige and Latino power star Marc Anthony.

Fans have also commenced a petition for the Democrats to sign up Betty White to be the mystery guest speaker in an attempt to counter Clint Eastwood's colorful speech at the Republican National Convention last week.

The petition states: "Clint Eastwood, the Republican's 'mystery guest' at the RNC, gave a bad name to older Americans everywhere with his absurd and awkward-to-watch introduction of Governor Romney. You know what? Governor Romney can have Clint Eastwood and his improvisational skills because President Obama has the one and only Betty White!"

Just under 6,000 delegates are expected to attend this year's Democratic Convention at the Time Warner Cable Arena. Attendees will see First Lady Michelle Obama, Keynote Speaker and San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro and former President Bill Clinton, speak during the first two days of the event.

DJ Cassidy, Ledisi, Amber Riley, former American Idol contestant Jessica Sanchez and Branford Marsalis will also take the stage.

On Thursday, Obama will officially accept the nomination at the Bank of America Stadium which has capacity to seat over 73,000 people.
