Chinese multinational telecommunications company ZTE is expected to release a new device dubbed as Nubia X8. According to a report by Phones Review, the device has been long rumored already and now, new leaks have emerged sparking more rumors about it since there are no confirmed information out in the open yet.
Mobipicker stated that the specs of the device has been breached via Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. It is said that the Nubia X8 will be launching to the public a total of three variants. Each will feature a 6.44-inch display but they are overall designed to be different from each other to cater to the specific needs of users.
As detailed in GSM Arena, the first model will be an entry model with specs that include Snapdragon 820, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB storage space and 1080p resolution display. Meanwhile, the mid-entry model will carry the same Snapdragon 820 but this time paired with 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB/64 GB storage and QHD resolution display. Lastly, the flagship device will have a Snapdragon 823, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB/256 GB of storage and UHD resolution display. The last variant is said to be the future of smartphones.
Fans are even expecting the same specs found in the ZTE flagship to be incorporated in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6. Phone Arena detailed that the unreleased Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 is said to be made with a more recent 10nm process compared to its predecessor the SD 820 which was devised on a 14nm process.
Apart from those rumored specs, there are no details yet with regards to the camera features and other specifications that the devices will have. But based on the leaked photos, the Nubia X8 is expected to carry a dual LED flash and a fingerprint scanner. Rumors also claimed that it will be clad in an all-metal jacket.
